Set in London, Knuckleball is a TV drama centered on the competitive world of women’s football. Our story focuses on 16 year old Fergie, a girl from Hackney whose dream is to become a professional football player. Through her incredible skill, Fergie wins a scholarship to a private football academy, but when her team is embroiled in hazing scandal, she is scapegoated and expelled. Fergie’s fall from grace leads her back home where she’s forced to join a local Sunday league team to keep her dream alive.
Fergie gets a second chance when her local team is enrolled into a flashy new tournament where every game played means visibility to football scouts and agents. But Fergie can’t do this alone.
